Fire Brigade Department is created to
carry out the duties & functions assigned
to the corporation under section 63 read with
285,286,287,288,289 & chapter 13 of Bombay
Provincial Municipal Corporation Act 1949. The
department have two fire-fighting centres with
adequate equipments and machineries
to fight against fire disasters and
to protect live hood and property damage.
One fire brigade station is located at UMC (HQ),
covering the area of camp No. 1 to 3 and
2nd is located at VTC sports complex for camp No.
4 & 5.
The Fire Department is committed
to provide effective and emergency services to
ensure the public safety.
