Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation has undertaken e-governance initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability at the Government-citizen interface . UMC has designed innovative interfaces to make it easier for citizens to access the services and setup Citizen Facilitation Centre at Head Office.

Citizen Facilitation Centre has been commissioned on 15/06/2004 to improve the delivery of municipal services through information and communications technology. By using these technologies, the project has enabled instant access to all the civic services. This services include payment of municipal dues, submission of building plans and water tap applications, facility for instant issuance of birth and death certificate, online registering as well as forwarding and disposal of complaints and grievances. |
More than 69 + services regarding Birth & Death Registration, Water Supply, Town Planning, Property Tax, Market Licenses, Estate, Fire Brigade, Public Works are provided through CFC. |
