Vision & Quality Policy

The water Supply and Sewerage Department is committed to supply unpolluted drinking water for the use of residence, prohibit the pollution of water and construct, maintain the drain system in the city.

The Department shall strive for excellence by:

Working and acting in such a manner that all services rendered lead to efficiency, improved credibility and enhanced image of the Corporation.

Functions of Department

Installation & Maintenance of pipe lines and sewer lines.
Supply of drinking water
Operation and Maintenance of underground drainage system
Collection of Water charges from consumers
Operation and maintenance of Jet pumps,bore wells & hand pumps
Operation and maintenance of pumping stations and booster pumping stations.

Public Services

· Supply Water to Citizens & ensure the quality of water for safe drinking purpose.
· Supply of water through tankers to the Scarcity areas.
· Disposal of domestic sewerage through underground system and its treatment.
· Preparation bills and collection of water charges from consumers.
