VITTHAL MANDIR
An excursion stroll from Shahad Railway Station by
an uphill country lane towards Ulhasnagar takes one
in front of the huge of the famous Century Rayon Campus,
Shahad Gaon than assumes a small table plateau at
the foot of 27.432 meters high hillock in front of
the Century Rayon. A Vishramdham built in Rajesthani
style is also situated at the foot of the hill. A
further uphill stroll along a stair pathway towards
the top of the hillock ends in front of a decorative
monumental archway. This archway is called "Pratoli"
which leads to the huge courtyard clustered with pleasant
turfs and stone pathways. On this pleasant courtyard
stands the "Devprasad" very much in the
centre and facing north. To the east on an elevation
treasured in the cluster of Ashok trees are Girivihar

panorama consists of Ulhasnagar camp. Shahad railway

railway track, in the gaothan area is a temple of
Ram, Laxman and Sita. Bluish mounts of Haji Malang
and the Ulhasnagar colony keep company to this monument
on the south.
